Growing Conditions

The farm owns approximately 20 hectares of vineyards, all located in the municipality of Montabone, a small village nestled in the Monferrato hills in the southern province of Asti, at the entrance to the Langa Astigiana, whose landscape is part of the Buffer Zone of the 50th Italian UNESCO World Heritage Site (Vineyard Landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato).

They are all planted using the girapoggio system and Guyot-trained, at an altitude between 320 and 410 meters above sea level, in soils composed primarily of marl and sandstone. Various grape varieties are grown: Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato, Brachetto, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cortese, and small parcels of Sauvignon Blanc and Nebbiolo.

The unique soil and climate conditions and the influence of the sea breeze are ideal for producing high-quality, fresh, fragrant, and elegant wines every year.
