I Tre Vescovi” as the flagship wine of the cooperative is now well established, but also of the grape variety and its identity with the territory. This wine is now an unbeatable value for money.

In 2009, “Vigne Vecchie 50” was presented as a part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the winery. The grapes come from vineyards of more than 50 years old.

Bricco Laudana is the name of the most beautiful south-facing ridge located in Vinchio with a perfect south-west exposure in the core area of the Nizza D.O.C.G. This hill is the best vocated area to grow Barbera with ancient roots.

In 1987, in the most avant-garde Italian wine-growing areas, it was mostly thought of replanting old vineyards, replacing them with new plantings, different clones, and dense planting densities. Instead, thanks to a prophetic foresight of the oenologist Giuliano Noè (unanimously considered one of the noble fathers of Barbera, at that time our consultant) Vinchio Vaglio decided to identify the best vineyards of over 50 years old and started producing a wine called ‘Vigne Vecchie’.

In 2001, the magnificent adventure of the ‘Vigne Vecchie’ was joined by a new wine that aims to be the highest quality level reached by a Barbera: the ‘Sei Vigne Insynthesis’. A concerted effort is made between oenologist and agronomist, and some of the best vineyards are identified which are chosen each year to make a synthesis, hence the name. It is a Barbera of great harmony aged in barriques, which is placed at the top of the winery’s quality pyramid and in fact, starting with the 2019 harvest, has been classified as Nizza Riserva DOCG, the highest appellation for a Barbera-based wine. The grapes come from vineyards around 60 years old

Arneis is an indigenous grape of ancient origin cultivated mainly in the Roero. It has delicate and elegant aromas of white flowers and fresh fruit such as apple, peach and hazelnut.
